Fitness Grading Chart
Compare Fitness Required A to E and choose the right Pakistan mountain trip based on walking ability, trekking experience, altitude, training, and expedition readiness.
This fitness grading chart helps travelers choose the right Chaqon Global Tours mountain trip based on physical effort, walking duration, altitude, camping comfort, and preparation level. It is designed for tours, treks, trekking peaks, 6,000m climbs, 7,000m expeditions, and 8,000m objectives in Pakistan.
Fitness grading is different from technical difficulty. Fitness explains how physically demanding the trip is. Technical difficulty explains terrain, climbing skills, glacier travel, route complexity, and risk level. A trip can be technically simple but physically tiring, or technically difficult and physically extreme.
Use this chart as a planning guide. Final suitability depends on your health, previous experience, travel season, road conditions, altitude, weather, and group pace.

How to Use This Fitness Chart
Match Fitness With Reality
Choose a grade that matches your current walking, trekking, and endurance level.
Check Technical Difficulty Too
Fitness and technical difficulty should both be reviewed before booking any mountain trip.
Consider Altitude and Weather
Altitude, cold, long drives, camping, and changing weather can make a trip feel harder.
Ask for Route Advice

- Hunza Valley can be Fitness A or B with low technical difficulty
- Gondogoro Peak may need Fitness C or D depending on route and conditions
- A 6,000m peak may require Fitness D and Technical Difficulty 3 or 4
- K2 or Gasherbrum II may require Fitness E and Technical Difficulty 5
How Fitness Can Change During a Trip
A trip may feel harder if weather changes, snow blocks a route, the group moves slowly, roads are rough, altitude affects sleep, or trekking days become longer than planned. Chaqon Global Tours plans routes carefully, but mountain travel always needs flexibility.
