Do mountain routes close seasonally?
Yes, Shandur Pass and some high-altitude tracks are typically closed in winter due to snow; we'll advise on current seasonal access when you book.
Can the same vehicle do city and mountain legs of one trip?
Often yes for SUV routes; jeep-only sections (like the Kalash valleys) may need a vehicle swap in Chitral, which we coordinate as part of the itinerary.
