Photography is allowed in public festival areas but always ask before photographing individuals, especially women. Sacred ceremonies are off-limits.
What should I wear inside Kalash villages?
Modest, comfortable clothing. Kalash women wear striking traditional dresses; visitors should not imitate them.
Is the homestay private?
Yes, each booking gets a private room. Bathrooms are shared with the host family.
